MVM is seeking unpaid interns, paid interns, and future employees
If you are a California-based college student majoring in film, broadcast journalism, art/graphic art, business, communications, web design, music, or theatre, then MVM may have an internship and a future job for you. MVM is working on producing two inspirational reality tv pilots, a mini-series, and various media projects. Highly-skilled and productive interns will be paid through stipends, commissions, and some will be eligible for profit-sharing. The potential for long-term or permanent employment will be possible for this particular internship.

Business Interns: This intern will assist the CEO with various tasks related to accounting, finance, marketing, economics, human resources, and decision making.
Film Interns: These interns will do the following tasks: Create how-to-videos and brand commercials for youtube videos. Film and/or edit various college academic-competitions and tournaments on location. Film and/or edit segments for Reality TV Show Pilot. Film and/or edit segments for Mini-Series Pilot Film and/or edit interview segments.
Broadcast Journalism Interns: Performs as a presenter of college competitions, contests and career information with an ESPN style and format Writes and/or proofreads stories on broadcasts news when not anchoring. Entertain and inform by interviewing guests on the air and in the field. Reads newspapers, magazines and wire copy, Internet, etc. to keep current on college/career events. Minimum qualifications: A demo reel and ability to travel state-wide. Desirable qualifications: Experience anchoring regularly scheduled news broadcasts on a TV or radio station. Theatre Interns: Will act in an MVM inspirational reality TV pilot, mini-series pilot, and commercials. Some will also model in the first annual MVM fashion show.
Art/Graphic Artist/Fashion Interns: Will help design and produce new graphics, merchandise, apparel, and media-related projects.
Photography Interns: Photograph students, events, and commercial products. Enhance, retouch, and resize photographs and negatives, using airbrushing and other techniques. Estimate or measure light levels, distances, and numbers of exposures needed, using measuring devices and formulas. Create artificial light, using flashes and reflectors. Use traditional or digital cameras, along with a variety of equipment such as tripods, filters, and flash attachments. Adjust apertures, shutter speeds, and camera focus based on a combination of factors such as lighting, field depth, subject motion, film type, and film speed. Use various special effects and software to create desired presentations.
Communications/Public Relations Interns: Engage in promoting or creating good will for students, teams, and MVM by writing or selecting favorable publicity material and releasing it through various communications media. May prepare and arrange displays, and make speeches. Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for students to increase product and service awareness and to promote goodwill.
Web-Design Interns: Will design new MVM websites from start to finish without technical assistance.
Music Interns: Will help compose, write, and produce MVM NATION official brand-anthem, songs, and TV/Film commercial scores and soundtracks. |
